Oak Hall beats Union County 3-0 in first home game of the season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – The fall sports season is in full swing and the area’s high school volleyball teams are showing off their skills. On Thursday, several teams turned heads with impressive performances, setting the tone for an exciting season.

Oak Hall High School hosted Union County for its first home game of the year and the excitement was palpable. The Eagles picked up right where they left off last season, defeating the Fightin’ Tigers with a convincing 3-0 victory.

Santa Fe, meanwhile, proved they are as competitive as ever. The Raiders picked up their second win of the season, defeating Buchholz with a clear 3-0 victory.

In a thrilling rematch, the Rock avenged their previous defeats to GHS from last season, defeating the Hurricanes with a hard-fought 3-1 victory and displaying a series of back-and-forth battles on the field.

These first games highlight the intensity and talent of the local high school volleyball team. It is clear that this is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting season.

Newberry defeated St. Francis 3-0

St. John Lutheran defeated Forest, 3-0

Bronson defeated Hawthorne, 3-1

vanguard defeated North Marion 3-0
