“We are excited to continue releasing new t-shirt designs and hope this sale encourages people to add some to their wardrobe,” said Chad Merda, Forest Preserve’s digital marketing strategy/engagement director.
But the sale is not just about saving money on nature-themed T-shirts, he added.
“With all proceeds from sales going to the Nature Foundation of Will County, it’s also about making a real impact and providing critical funding for a variety of conservation and nature education initiatives for Will County residents,” Merda said. “Since launching with a limited merchandise offering in May 2023, the foundation has received approximately $40,000 in additional funding from merchandise proceeds. Our collection is a win for customers and a win for the environment, too.”
Youth and toddler sizes
Some of the popular adult t-shirts, including the “Stay Trashy” raccoon shirt and the “Every Day I’m Hustlin'” turtle shirt, are now available in youth and toddler sizes, along with some other designs.
The merchandise range also includes magnets, sweatshirts, onesies with matching bibs, hats and water bottles.
