Oregon State Baseball partners with Portland TV station to broadcast home games of 2025 season

The Oregon State baseball team is coming soon to a TV—and streaming service—near you.

The Beavers announced Thursday that they are partnering with Portland’s CW to broadcast at least 18 home games during the 2025 season, ensuring that approximately one-third of Oregon State’s games will reach Portland-area living rooms next year.

The partnership also includes a streaming component, as games will be streamed simultaneously on KOIN.com, allowing fans outside of Portland and the Willamette Valley to watch one of Oregon’s most successful sports programs.

“We are excited to partner with Portland’s CW to showcase our nationally known baseball program,” OSU athletic director Scott Barnes said in a press release. “We are committed to creating a schedule that allows our student-athletes to compete with the best teams and have formed a partnership that will provide the coverage Beaver Nation desires for this championship program.”

The Beavers will have an independent schedule next season – their first since college football realignment exploded the Pac-12 Conference – and it is expected to be more exciting and feature more high-profile opponents than in past seasons. Oregon State has not yet released the schedule, but sources say it is all but set and the school is just waiting to finalize some of the contracts with opponents.

The Beavers, who have won three national championships and qualified for the College World Series seven times, finished last season with a 45-16 record and reached the Lexington Super Regional, two wins shy of reaching Omaha. They lost a number of key players to graduation and the MLB Draft — including No. 1 pick Travis Bazzana and their top two starting pitchers — but are expected to field a strong team again that will undoubtedly earn a preseason spot in the national polls next season.

“We look forward to seeing Beaver Nation at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field next season,” OSU coach Mitch Canham said in a press release. “If you can’t make it to Goss, this partnership with Portland’s CW is a fantastic opportunity for our great fans to watch our home program.”

The network is also scheduled to broadcast six Oregon State football games in 2024, including a season opener against Idaho State on August 31.

In recent seasons, most OSU baseball games were broadcast on the Pac-12 Network, but the network was discontinued with the collapse of the Pac-12.
