Oregon State without Nickel Noble Thomas Jr., WR Darrius Clemons and LB Olu Omotosho for Saturday’s game against San Diego State

SAN DIEGO – Oregon State will be without three potential starters Saturday night when the Beavers play San Diego State at Snapdragon Stadium.

Receiver Darrius Clemons, outside linebacker Olu Omotosho, nickel Noble Thomas Jr. and defensive tackle Tygee Hill are all missing due to injuries. None of the three were in uniform as the Beavers warmed up before Saturday’s game.

Clemons, a sophomore freshman from Michigan, did not play in Oregon State’s season-opening game against Idaho State due to a foot injury.

Omotosho started against the Bengals but had to leave the game after the first series with a shoulder injury. Zakaih Saez, a sophomore freshman who played most of last week’s game when Omotosho left, will likely start in his absence.

Thomas’ injury is unknown and likely occurred sometime during practice this week. The third-year student had two tackles and defended two passes against Idaho State.

Thomas’ replacement at the nickelback position is Sai Vadrawale III, a second-year freshman from California.

Hill, a third-year sophomore transfer from Louisiana State, did not play against Idaho State last week.

Also absent from the first half is inside linebacker Isaiah Chisom, who was ejected for targeted attack in the second half against Idaho State. Chisom, a second-year freshman, is eligible to play in the second half. Junior Aiden Sullivan will likely start in Chisom’s absence.
