PARKERSBURG – The City of Parkersburg presents Family Movie Night, an evening of free entertainment beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday in City Park.

Cartoon Fun with JD Williamson will offer a caricature and drawing show, while BIG FUN Circus and Thomas Family Entertainment will offer family-friendly circus-themed activities. Volunteers from the Actors Guild of Parkersburg will provide colorful face painting and temporary tattoos. Free sno cones and popcorn will be available while supplies last, and a selection of food trucks will be on site offering a variety of purchase options.

These activities will take place from 6pm to 8pm, with the main screening of the film “Wonka” Beginning at dusk, activities will take place near the park’s main entrance at 1620 Park Avenue. The movie will take place in the Bandshell and there will be other activities nearby. Admission is free.
