Patriots game tips: Can New England start a winning streak against the Seahawks?

After their victory in Week 1, the New England Patriots return to Gillette Stadium for their first home game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The two teams have played many exciting games in their recent meetings throughout the year, and football’s two youngest head coaches – Jerod Mayo and Mike Macdonald – will be looking to add another to their resume.

You can see Pat’s Pulpit’s picks below and continue to discuss Sunday’s games in the comments section.

Patriots Tips

Oliver Thomas: After winning all three phases en route to an upset victory on the road, the first home game looks much more winnable. But starting with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET in Foxborough, the Patriots will have to start all over again against a Seahawks team with a long injury list. | Patriots 21, Seahawks 17

Brian Hines: Jacoby Brissett and the Patriots passing attack will have to step up in Week 2, as Seattle’s run defense should be better than Cincinnati’s. But New England’s defense will keep it close again as a banged-up Seahawks team travels across the country. | Patriots 20, Seahawks 16

Bernd Buchmasser: The Patriots played very well in Week 1, but the entire season opener has gone according to plan. Will they look as strong against an opponent that may offer more resistance and pose more of a challenge on defense? At this point, we’re leaning toward “no” in another low-scoring affair. | Seahawks 17, Patriots 13
