People discover that you can use Omori as a browser and it causes chaos

Not only is it a great psychological horror game, but people are also discovering that Omori can also be used as a browser. Since Omori is built with RPGMaker and JavaScript, files and URLs can be played by dragging them onto the game as if it were a media player.

Players who found this information have fired up their copies of Omori and used the game to play some hilarious stuff. The Big Cheese memes from Disney Toontown Online and “Never Gonna Give You Up” by Rick Astley are just a few of the things that have been played on Omori, with more to come as word spreads.

While the developers at OMOCAT, LLC probably didn’t plan their gameplay experience this way, this unexpected feature is reminiscent of a time when the internet wasn’t as widespread. You can still browse the web using your internet browser, but for a more traditional experience, load some videos onto Omori and see if the in-game characters have anything to say about them.
