Emily in Paris Season 4, Part 2 had many standout moments — including filming on location in Rome — but for actress Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, it was a co-star who made filming this season extra special, she says.

Speaking to PEOPLE, 61-year-old Leroy-Beaulieu said her most memorable scene in Part 2 was when she worked with British actor Rupert Everett.

“I had so much fun with Rupert Everett in Rome,” the French actress tells PEOPLE. Although they didn’t know each other before, she says, “it was so funny because he has a crazy personality.” She adds: “It was a really great moment.”

In episode 10 of the fourth season, when Leroy-Beaulieu’s character Sylvie Grateau, the stylish PR executive, needs an office in Rome, she meets an old friend, the interior designer Giorgio Barbieri (played by Everett).

65-year-old Everett brings wit and charm to his guest role as he helps Sylvie get her favor.

Speaking to PEOPLE, the star revealed another scene she won’t soon forget filming: her dressing-up montage during a shopping trip with another newcomer to the series, Thalia Besson, who plays Sylvie’s stepdaughter Geneviève.

“We filmed it for a long time and had a lot of material, it could have been a whole clip,” says Leroy-Beaulieu. “I remember we asked for Brazilian music, I think, and we had a lot of fun with it, obviously it was like puppetry.”

In part 2 of the fourth season, Emily Cooper escaped to a vacation in Rome to spend time with her new crush Marcello (Eugenio Franceschini). Of course, Emily cannot separate her personal life from her professional life.

“It’s not the first time you’ve combined business with pleasure,” says Sylvie, Emily’s boss, about Marcello in the trailer for Emily. “You’re actually pretty good at it.”

“I really needed this. A break from work, Paris, everything,” says Emily Marcello in the teaser clip.

It turns out that Leroy-Beaulieu really enjoyed the break from filming in Paris, as her character accompanied Emily to the Eternal City.

“It was a difficult time of year to shoot because we were in Paris in the winter, so the mood was different,” she explains. “It was cold, rainy, it wasn’t so sunny and that’s why it was so nice to come (to Rome) and suddenly see light, colors and people in a good mood.”
