Pioneer Woman’s pumpkin cookware is back in a new, eye-catching color

Pioneer Woman’s pumpkin cookware is back in a new, eye-catching color

In case you missed it, The Pioneer Woman launched a collection of pumpkin-shaped cookware last fall that was a hit with shoppers for its festive, high-quality design at affordable prices. Luckily, Ree Drummond’s Walmart-exclusive brand has brought back the best-selling pieces this year, and there’s a new color so pretty, it’s expected to sell out quickly.

In addition to classic orange and white, the pumpkin-shaped cookware is now available in another classic fall hue (drum roll please): merlot. The rich, bold color exudes elegance—so much so that the cookware pieces can also serve as permanent table decorations this season. And with prices ranging from $25 to $30, you might want to consider all three: the oval casserole dish, the cake pan, and the set of three mini cocottes.

The Pioneer Woman’s cookware is not only aesthetically pleasing but also extremely functional. Besides the cozy weather and beautiful decorations, fall is the time to prepare all your favorite foods and each piece in the pumpkin collection can help make them a success.

The cake tin, casserole dish and mini cocottes are all made from durable stoneware with a glossy ceramic finish and are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, so you can move them from oven to table to draining rack with ease. Many shoppers say the cookware distributes heat evenly, keeps food warm after baking and feels expensive.

The casserole dish is 9 x 13 inches, meaning it’s the perfect size for any dish you’d normally make in a large baking dish, whether it’s your grandmother’s classic dinner recipe or your favorite breakfast casserole for brunch. One shopper called it a must-have side dish for Thanksgiving, while another said they liked it so much they bought another one as a gift for their mother-in-law.

The cake tin is suitable for baking and serving various recipes, including cakes of course, but also cobblers, crisps, quiches and tarts. What sets this cake tin apart from others, besides its pumpkin design, is the lid that keeps your dessert warm while you enjoy the main course. The gold handle – found on every piece in the collection – imitates a stem and gives your dish a luxurious presentation, according to customers.

The (incredibly cute) mini cocottes are ideal for single servings of soufflé, soup, pudding, cheesecake, baked brie and more. Or you can fill them with sweets and display them around your home, like in the entryway or on the coffee table. At $25 for three bowls, each one costs nearly $8 a piece.

The Pioneer Woman Cast Iron Dutch Oven, 5 Quart, Merlot

Unfortunately, the pumpkin-shaped Dutch oven isn’t back in stock (yet), but if you’re looking for something big enough to make soup, stew, and roasts this fall, consider this 5-quart enameled cast iron pot from The Pioneer Woman. It has a nonstick coating, a tight-fitting lid to keep the heat in, and—best of all—it comes in Merlot.
