Planned power outage in Jackson, Missouri

JACKSON, Missouri (KFVS) – A planned power outage is scheduled to occur in Jackson, Missouri on August 13th.

According to a press release from the City of Jackson, residential customers in the Trail Ridge and Eastridge Place residential areas in the City of Jackson will be affected by a planned power outage on Tuesday, August 13, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Weather permitting, electrical crews will be working in the 2400 block of Old Cape Road to replace faulty electrical equipment.

The following subdivisions are affected, among others:

  • All homes in Trail Ridge Subdivision, including clients on Whitney Jean Dr., Drew Ave., Shannon Ct., Leigh Ann Ct., Smith Tr., Trail Ridge Rd. and Old Cape Rd.
  • All homes in the Eastridge Place Subdivision, including clients on Union Station Rd. and Sierra Ct.
  • Part of the Kimble Woods Subdivision, including homes at 808, 830, 920, 986, 947 and 948 Kimblewoods Dr.
  • Seven houses along Old Cape Road with the addresses 2505, 2525, 2535, 2625, 2635, 2655 and 2675 Old Cape Rd.

Motorists are asked to exercise extreme caution when driving in and near the construction site and to obey all warning signs.
