Carti surprised his fans when rumors of a possible single release began to swirl. Shortly after “All Red” was posted on YouTube, it actually found its way to DSPs.

“THIS 1 FOR YAL I CANNOT LIE,” Carti wrote on his label Opium’s Instagram page.

The Atlanta rapper reteams with frequent collaborator F1lthy, who provides the chaotic production. “Upside down cross tattoo on my neck, shut up, uh/ The Bentley parked outside, my vibes tryna take a spin/ I put VETEMENTS right on them thighs, I put the mask on ’cause I’m done,” he raps.

Carti is used to mixing up his vocals, and here he has once again lowered his vocal range. Some compared his flow on “All Red” to Future’s sound. “Playboi Carti was definitely inspired by Future on ‘ALL RED’. Crazy how much influence Future has on all these rappers,” wrote one fan.

Another said: “All joking aside, the new Carti sounds like the future.”

There are finally some signals for Playboi Carti’s long-delayed I am music Album in the planning stages. He posted various vinyl covers for the project on Instagram and directed fans to his website.

Carti’s webstore sells digital albums along with merchandise packages, but there is no release date and only a release before October 2025 is promised.

PBC T-shirt packages are available for $50, while pre-orders for the I am music Hat and hoodie packages are available for $65 and $100, respectively, plus fees.

“All Red” is Carti’s first streaming release since 2020 Lots of red. Although he has released a number of singles on his YouTube page over the past year, including “Backr00ms” featuring Travis Scott, “2024,” “Evil J0rdan,” “Ketamine,” “H00dbyair,” and “Different Day.”

Playboi Carti was honored at Billboard‘s 2024 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event last week in NYC with the Artist of the Year award.

He made one of his rare public appearances to accept the award. “I want to thank my mom, I want to thank God,” he began his speech. “Thank you Billboard — this is my first award. I’m very happy to be here. RIP Rich Homie Quan. ATL in the building. Shout out to all of New York. Love you all. Thank you.”
