Matthew Ross appointed Point of Rental’s first Chief Financial Officer—This reflects his role in building the company’s financial strategy and growth over the past few years. Ross joined Point of Rental in 2021 and previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Global Finance and oversaw the acquisition of Record360.

“When I joined Point of Rental in 2021, we had just acquired Rental Hosting and were planning to grow rapidly. We have been on the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies every year since then, and I am proud of how we have navigated the additional complexities that growth brings,” says Ross. “I look forward to working with our team to continue to expand Point of Rental’s global impact.”

In addition to the acquisition of Recod360, Ross has also overseen continued expansion into the UK, Australia and South Africa markets. As CFO, he will continue to manage the company’s complex financial landscape.

Before joining Point of Rental, Matthew began his career as a financial analyst at Lockheed Martin, where he completed his MBA with a focus on global strategy. From there, he joined Active Network, an international SaaS company, as a Senior Treasury Analyst and worked his way up to Senior Finance Manager. When the company was acquired, he joined Aspira and became Vice President of Financial Accounting.
