Point of Rental appoints Matthew Ross as the company’s first CFO

Point of Rental has appointed Matthew Ross as its first Chief Financial Officer. This move reflects his role in building Point of Rental’s financial strategy and the company’s growth over the past few years.

“When I joined Point of Rental in 2021, we had just acquired Rental Hosting and were planning to grow quickly. We were on the Inc. 5000 “Point of Rental has been on the fastest-growing private companies list every year since then, and I am proud of how we have navigated the additional complexities that growth brings,” said Ross. “I look forward to working with our team to continue to expand Point of Rental’s global impact.”

Previously, Matthew served as the company’s senior vice president of global finance, overseeing the acquisition of Record360 and the company’s continued expansion into the UK, Australia and South Africa markets. As CFO, he will continue to lead the company’s complex financial landscape.

“We have experienced steady growth over the years, leading to larger and more complex projects,” said Wayne Harris, CEO of Point of Rental. “Matthew’s approach to planning and budgeting has laid a solid foundation for our future growth, and we look forward to building on that foundation with him as our CFO.”

Before joining Point of Rental, Matthew began his career as a financial analyst at Lockheed Martin, where he completed his MBA with a focus on global strategy. From there, he joined Active Network, an international SaaS company, as a Senior Treasury Analyst and worked his way up to Senior Finance Manager. When the company was acquired, he joined Aspira and became Vice President of Financial Accounting.
