Pop star cries hysterically after being ‘threatened’ at airport

Pop star Bebe Rexha claimed she was “threatened” by a Lufthansa airline employee while trying to board one of their flights.

The 34-year-old US singer posted several tear-jerking videos on her Instagram story on Saturday afternoon in which she claimed she was not allowed on a plane because she spoke in Albanian to an airline employee who she thought looked Albanian.

She shared a video of herself crying with her 11.9 million followers. Grammy-nominated The star had smeared her mascara under her eyes when she said: “The supervisor on this Lufthansa flight is threatening me.”

Bebe, who is of Albanian descent, was then apparently approached by an airline employee and told: “Don’t threaten me again.”

The Say My Name singer captioned the video: “I was threatened by Lufthansa because I thought the agent was Albanian. I spoke to him in Albanian and asked him where I could get my ticket and now he’s blocking my flight.”

The singer posted another video of herself crying and looking distraught as she sat in the airport. In the following slide, she told her fans that she believed she had been the victim of a “hate crime.”

“I think this is a hatred crime because I am Albanian,” she wrote in a statement. “He wouldn’t let me take his name. He continued to abuse me psychologically to make me feel more powerful than him.”

She added: “None of the women at @Lufthansa intervened or said anything. He wouldn’t give me his name. But I just found out he works for ATSG, a document control service provider contracted by Lufthansa.”

Bebe then posted a story about a fan who pleaded with the airline to “investigate the male police officer who threatened a woman” because she spoke Albanian.

The video was quickly reposted on X, with many fans expressing concern for the singer.

“This girl is always mistreated or disrespected… Bebe Rexha deserves more respect. More people need to start respecting her,” Playwoi wrote.

Another fan, princceq, added: “Bebe goes through something every two busy days. I pray for her mental health. This is sad. Also, she is a good person.”

Others, however, were skeptical of her claims, with theDjole commenting: “There must be something more to this story because no one would ban you from flying just because you speak a different language, lol.”

imnotpopbase added: “With this girl there is always something I can’t do.”

Bebe appeared to be departing from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after her performance at the MDL Beast Festival on Friday night.

The New York-born singer’s emotional videos come just a month after she explosively declared she was fed up with the music industry and could bring down “a big part” of it with the information she has.

“I could bring down a HUGE part of this industry. I’m frustrated. I’ve been UNDERMINED,” Bebe wrote on X. “I’ve been so quiet for so long.”

“I didn’t see the signs, even though people keep mentioning them and they were SO OBVIOUS,” said the 34-year-old, who worked with greats like Dolly PartonTo be continued.

“And when I have spoken my mind, I have been silenced and punished by this industry. Things need to change or I am speaking ALL my truths. The good, the bad and the ugly,” she vowed in the series of tweets.

She later said her comments were not made out of “anger” but out of “sadness” and thanked her fans for the “strength” they give her.
