Wawa’s cream cheese-filled pretzel was one of 11 recommended on-the-go meals.

There are 11 top-notch cult gas station dishes, including two Wawa options, that you shouldn’t miss on your next road trip, writes Allison Arnold for Yummy.

These foods, selected with the help of Delish editors, go far beyond beef jerky, chips or snack mixes.

Wawa offers traditional roadhouse fare, but the extensive menu also includes all snacks and meals.

For snacking, the pretzels filled with cream cheese are a highlight, with normal cream cheese or in the sweet and jalapeno version.

Wawa is also there for you with its sandwiches.

“Wawa’s massive menu has too many highlights to list, but it’s famous for its wide variety of sandwiches. Trust us, try the chicken cheesesteak with bacon,” Arnold writes.
