WACO, Texas (KWTX) – One half of famous YouTubers Brooklyn & Bailey is opening a new liquor store in Central Texas.
Brooklyn McKnight, who rose to internet fame alongside her twin sister Bailey, confirmed to KWTX that she and her husband Dakota Blackburn will be opening their second Sip City location in Woodway after successfully opening a first location in Plano in August.
“We’re super excited because it’s our second location,” Brooklyn told KWTX.
Sip City is a beverage company that offers a variety of refreshing drinks based on cola, root beer, sweet tea and lemonade. For 30 cents more, you can choose from 30 flavors of syrups, including cherry, peach and pineapple.
Additions such as whipped cream, fresh lime and Red Bull are also available.
Sip City has kept the prices reasonable, with drinks starting at $1.75 and 44 oz. costing $2.55.
The Woodway location will have a drive-thru, but customers will also be welcomed into a retail store.
“It’s a drive-thru beverage company, which basically means you can come through our drive-thru and order any drink you want with any syrup, cream or fruit,” Brooklyn said. “We have a ton of different add-ons. Some of our most popular drinks are soda-based. Our favorite drink is ‘The Dallas,’ and that’s actually Dr. Pepper with peach and vanilla cream.”
The influencers are no strangers to Central Texas.
Brooklyn & Bailey attended Baylor University in Waco from 2018 to 2021. They hinted to their tens of millions of followers online this week that Sip City is expanding.
The sign for Sip City in Woodway just went up. Brooklyn said she knew the Waco area would be the perfect next location.
“I’m a graduate of Baylor University, so Waco was my home for four years, tried and true, and just needs a place like this,” Brooklyn said. “I think everyone in the area is going to love it. Everyone is going to love coming through the drive thru. It’s also really hot in Waco, so there’s just nothing better than a nice, cold, delicious drink on those hot days.”
Sip City also offers sweet treats, including edible cookie dough and chocolate chip cookies, as well as refrigerated sugar cookies.
Brooklyn says they hope to have a grand opening for Sip City in Woodway in September or October.
“We hope everyone enjoys it and can come along to our grand opening,” she said.
Brooklyn told KWTX that there are plans for a third and fourth location, but the cities have not yet been announced.
