There is never a shortage of glamour when Priyanka Chopra walks a red carpet.
At yesterday’s Kering for Women Dinner in New York City citadel The star once again made a stunning fashion statement in an outfit that embodied classic glamour – all by keeping it simple.
The centerpiece of this look was a skin-tight black silk slip, complete with a seductive scalloped lace halter neck and a provocative low back.
She took a no-fuss approach to her evening look, accessorizing the dress minimally with a pair of satin black slingback pumps—also by Saint Laurent—and diamond jewelry by Bulgari. (The latter is to be expected, considering Chopra’s long-standing role as an ambassador for the luxury jewelry brand.) Specifically, she wore a white gold bracelet wrapped around her wrist, sparkling with the brilliance of dozens of diamonds.
Chopra wasn’t the only celebrity in attendance at the Kering Foundation’s annual dinner. Other celebrities who also brought their fashion A-game to the gala included Kim Kardashian, Salma Hayek, Selena Gomez and Dakota Johnson.
Chopra seems to have a penchant for the sheer lace trend that has taken over the runways and red carpets over the past year. In August, the actress accompanied her husband Nick Jonas to the premiere of his new film in Los Angeles. The good halfwhere she wowed in a stunning one-shoulder dress made of gold and black lace by Dolce & Gabbana. She wore the piece over an equally sheer black lace shirt, which Chopra wore tucked into black panties.
