CLEVELAND, Ohio – Deshaun Watson and the Browns had a very poor opening day performance on Sunday, losing 33-17 at home to the Cowboys.
In his first game after shoulder surgery, Watson did not play well, completing 24 of 45 passes for 169 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.
Watson and the Browns didn’t make it into the end zone until the beginning of the third quarter and had only one first down in the first half against Dallas’ strong defense.

Sunday was Watson’s first live appearance since he suffered a season-ending shoulder fracture in a game against the Ravens on November 12, 2023.
