Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann were spotted holding hands for the first time since the beginning of their whirlwind romance.

The Legally Blonde star and the German financier, who sparked relationship rumors in July, confirmed their romance on Wednesday while on vacation in New York City.

Witherspoon, 48, and Haarmann, 57, were photographed leaving their hotel and walking toward an SUV while the actress held onto her boyfriend.

The Morning Show star, who wore a black mini dress with a cut-out neckline and black high heels, seemed to be in a good mood during the outing.

Haarmann wore a navy blazer, blue button-down shirt, khaki pants and brown dress shoes.

The couple arrived in the Big Apple over the weekend along with Witherspoon’s 20-year-old son Deacon, whom she has with her first ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and her 11-year-old son Tennessee, whom she welcomed with her second ex-husband Jim Toth.

Witherspoon and Phillippe, who were married from 1999 to 2008, also have a 24-year-old daughter, Ava, who was not present.

The “Big Little Lies” star and the businessman were first romantically linked in July when they were photographed having dinner at L’Artusi in the West Village.

Sources told the Daily Mail at the time that Witherspoon and Haarmann spent the entire weekend together and had been secretly together for months.

However, another insider told People that the two are “just friends” and that the mother of two is “taking it slow when it comes to dating.”

“She enjoys it, but she doesn’t want it to be the focus. She’s busy with work and her son,” the source shared. “Those are her biggest priorities.”

While there were rumors last year that Witherspoon was dating Kevin Costner, she has not publicly dated since her divorce from Toth in August 2023.

The former couple separated in March 2023 after 12 years of marriage.

Haarmann was previously married to Mala Gaonkar, with whom he has two sons.
