RentRedi offers 2-day financing and same-day billing for rentals

RentRedi makes renting easy for both landlords and tenants.

RentRedi, an award-winning property management software that simplifies the rental process for landlords and tenants, has made its rent collection and payment features more convenient and user-friendly by integrating with Stripe Connect and Stripe Checkout. The new upgrades speed up the time it takes landlords to receive their rent payments by offering faster payment processing and more convenient payment options for tenants.

RentRedi leverages Stripe Connect’s infrastructure for faster payment processing and has enhanced its mobile and online rent collection capabilities to provide more control over underwriting and onboarding processes, resulting in faster turnaround of rent payment funding, reducing the time it takes landlords to receive rent payments in their bank account to two business days.

“Landlords need an efficient and secure way to process the payments they collect from their tenants,” said Ryan Barone, co-founder and CEO of RentRedi. “We’re continuing our customer-centric approach to product development by leveraging Stripe integrations to deliver the industry’s fastest payment processing solution, getting money to our landlords faster without charging an additional fee for express funding.”

RentRedi’s accelerated funding also includes same-day processing of ACH payments, which completes the payment transaction and makes funds available to landlords. This also benefits renters who use ACH to pay their rent, as funds are debited from their accounts faster and they have more accurate, up-to-date account balances, reducing the likelihood of overdrawing their accounts and the associated fees and penalties.

The Stripe Connect integration also allows landlords to accept payments from multiple sources, including cash via Chime payments, ACH, or credit card, making it more convenient for renters as well. “Landlords who offer their tenants convenient and flexible payment options are more likely to receive their rent payments more regularly and on time, which means more stable cash flow for landlords,” Barone added. “It’s a win-win situation that benefits both landlords and renters.”

An additional integration with Stripe Checkout allows RentRedi landlords to use a variety of different payment options when setting up and paying for RentRedi subscriptions – including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all types of credit cards. The new integrations with Stripe Connect and Stripe Checkout provide RentRedi customers with an improved dashboard and user experience.
