Report on the cattle sale in the High Plains

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Livestock Poultry and Grain Market News Division in St. Joseph, Missouri, weekly weighted average direct sales of livestock in the High Plains region for the week ending August 11 were 61,134 animals, compared to 55,921 animals the previous week and 61,389 animals the year before.

The report is based on sales from feedlots in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota.
