Restaurant in Kansas City’s 18th and Vine District announces closure plans

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (KCTV) – Years after a restaurant in Kansas City’s 18th and Vine District opened its doors to serve people, the owner announced he plans to close.

Chef Anita Moore said the last meal at Soiree will be served in late August.

Moore posted on social media that the restaurant’s closure was purely a financial matter.

She also plans to host a farewell event to celebrate her time at 18th and Vine District and all the memories she made there.

“We can’t thank you enough for the support and love you have shown us over the years. Your patronage has meant the world to us and we value the relationships we have built within this community,” Moore said.

Moore’s plan is to offer a limited selection of customer favorites as special offers every day through the end of the month.
