Rock the Park celebrates 14th anniversary in Tampa

This September, Rock the Park Tampa reaches a major milestone: 14 years of live music in the heart of the city. On September 5, Curtis Hixon Park will once again come alive with the sounds of local talent as the community gathers for this highly anticipated event.

Rock the Park has become a staple of Tampa’s cultural scene and takes place on the first Thursday of every month. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open to all. It’s more than just a concert; it’s an important platform for emerging artists from across the region, giving them the opportunity to perform at one of the city’s most iconic venues.

Support local bands in the Tampa area

Curtis Hixon Park, 600 N Ashley Dr., provides a stunning backdrop for the event. Visitors can enjoy views of Sykes Tower and the Tampa Riverwalk, with historic minarets across the river adding to the atmosphere.

This month’s lineup includes the band HollowHouse and promises a night of great music. And what’s a concert without delicious food? Guests can look forward to tasty offerings from Jam Dish and This Little Pig.

For the past 14 years, the Tampa Downtown Partnership and Brokenmold Entertainment have produced this monthly music series showcasing a wide range of music genres. Rock the Park Tampa has become a beloved tradition that draws music lovers from all over the world to celebrate the city’s vibrant arts scene.
