USA: Short-term rental data and analytics provider AirDNA has announced the appointment of Rohit Bezewada as its new CEO, effective immediately.

He succeeds Demi Horvat, who will leave the company next month.

Bezewada joined AirDNA’s leadership team in the first quarter of this year, bringing with him a wealth of experience from his previous roles at industry giants such as Uber, JP Morgan and Trucker Tools. During his tenure at these companies, he played a critical role in improving operational efficiencies and developing growth strategies.

He said: “I want to thank Demi for her contributions to AirDNA and our industry over the past two years and I am honored to take on the role of CEO at AirDNA. We are committed to providing the highest quality data and insights to help short-term rental hosts and investors realize their full potential.

“My focus will be on leveraging our comprehensive analytics and innovative management tools to help our clients make informed investment decisions and optimize their leasing performance,” he added.

Under Bezewada’s leadership, AirDNA is poised to enter its next phase of growth and reaffirm its mission to deliver best-in-class data and insights for investors and hosts in the short-term rental space. Bezewada’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as the company plans to expand its offerings and strengthen its market position.

As a leading provider of data and analytics for the short-term rental industry, AirDNA acquired vacation rental software startup Uplisting in January 2024 to advance its mission of providing a comprehensive, end-to-end solution for those investing in and operating short-term rentals. Previously, the company acquired location intelligence platform Arrivalist in July 2023.

Horvat joined AirDNA after the company was acquired in March 2022 as part of a strategic partnership with private equity firm Alpine Investors. She then succeeded AirDNA founder Scott Shatford as CEO in October of this year.
