Save up to 50% on Flexispot Anniversary Sale

Flexispot is kicking off its 8-year anniversary sale with up to 50% off its most popular standing desks. We like Flexispot because they offer high-quality electric standing desks with all the features you want at a fraction of the price of other more popular models. I personally have been using a Flexispot E5 desk for years and if I were in the market now, I would have no qualms about getting another one.

Flexispot E5 Desk starting at $189.99

Electric standing table Flexispot E5

$189.99 for the base only, desktops starting at $80

The Flexispot E5 desk is, in my opinion, the most affordable electric standing desk while still offering all the premium features you could want. It currently costs $189.99 (normally $379.99) for the base only and desk tops start at $80. The Flexispot E5 is the most affordable model with Twin engines. Dual motor lifts are preferable to single motor lifts because they can support more weight (in this case, 287 pounds maximum) and last longer because the load is evenly distributed between both motors. The desk top is supported by a double cross beam structure, so your surface is evenly supported and sagging is prevented. The legs are made of steel and feature a 3-tier column. Most standing desks in this price range only have a 2-tier column. A 3-tier column is better because it supports a larger vertical range (in this case, 23.6″ to 49.2″). An anti-collision feature, a must-have on all desks, stops the desk if it detects a jam in the motor. Finally, the keypad controls offer three memory presets and a timer to remind you when to switch sitting/standing positions. The E5 comes with a 10-year warranty on all metal, mechanical and electrical parts and components, including the motor.

Flexispot E7 Desk starting at $329.99

$329.99 for the base only, desktops from +$80

The E7 currently costs $329.99 (normally $499.99) for the base only, and desk tops start at $80. For an additional $140, the Flexispot E7 offers better build quality, a higher weight limit, more included accessories, and a longer warranty. The weight capacity has been increased from 287 pounds to 355 pounds. Aesthetically, the legs look more professional with laser-welded seams and powder-coating with no visible holes. The enhanced keyboard has been upgraded with an LCD display, more memory presets, a built-in USB charger, and a parental control feature that’s essential for those of us with curious toddlers. The E7 also has a built-in under-desk cable tray to stash all your messy cables. Finally, the Flexispot E7 offers an increased 15-year warranty on all metal, mechanical, and electrical parts and components, including the motor.

Flexispot E7 Pro Desk starting at $369.99

Electric standing table Flexispot E7 Pro

Electric standing table Flexispot E7 Pro

$369.99 for the base only, desktops from +$80

The E7 Pro is Flexispot’s crème de la crème of standing desks. It was only recently released, so it’s not nearly as heavily discounted as the other models. It’s currently only $369.99 (normally $599.99) for the base, and desk tops start at $80. The E7 Pro has the best build quality of the three models listed here, which is certainly evident in its weight capacity of a whopping 200kg. Flexispot claims that the E7 Pro’s motor is superior to the standard dual-motor configuration you’ll find in the E5 and E7 and other brands, allowing for smoother and faster movements. It also includes more cable management options than the E7. The Flexispot E7 Pro comes with the same 15-year warranty as the E7 on all metal, mechanical and electrical parts and components, including the motor.

Consider buying the frame here and the desktop elsewhere.

I have three standing desks. One of the standing desks came with a countertop, but for the other two I got my own. For one, I bought a solid 74″x26″ maple veneer countertop from Ikea for $199. For the other, I bought a 48″x25″ solid wood countertop from Home Depot and finished it myself. Personally, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these choices, and there are even more options. The point is, these standing desk bases don’t require the countertops sold by the manufacturer. If you want to install your own countertop, by all means do so, as long as it’s within the weight restrictions.

How does the Flexispot compare to other brands?

I can only speak from personal experience. I own a Jarvis Fully, a Vari Ergo and a Flexispot E5. All three are excellent desks that have not given me any problems in the 3+ years I have owned them and that is the point. The Flexispot E5 is considerably cheaper than the other two options and yet I don’t really see what I would spend much of that cost on. For a similar price to a Jarvis Fully with nothing extra, you could buy the top of the range Flexispot E7 Pro and still have more money in your pocket.

I’m not the only person at IGN who rates Flexispot very highly. We rated Flexispot as the best overall standing desk for 2024 in our review. Buying Guide.
