American Sean O’Malley will defend his bantamweight title this Saturday night in a UFC 306 fight against Merab Dvalishvili at the Sphere in Las Vegas. The two competitors have been exchanging insults in preparation for the fight. O’Malley threatened to reopen a recently healed cut on Dvalishvili’s face and Dvalishvili called O’Malley’s trainer a “snake” for disrespecting him.

The night of fights is billed as Noche UFC 306 because it falls on Mexican Independence Day weekend. The main card includes a women’s flyweight title fight between champion Alexa Grasso and former champion Valentina Shevchenko. The fight will be available on PPV via ESPN+ for $79.99.

This weekend also marks the first live event from Yahoo Sports Uncrowned, a new combat sports media brand in partnership with Ariel Helwani.
