This morning will be a little warmer than yesterday, with many of us enjoying temperatures between 7 and 10 degrees. This afternoon will see plenty of sunshine again and temperatures will rise to more seasonable levels. Temperatures will be between 25 and 25 degrees, and lows tonight will also remain a little warmer, between 7 and 10 degrees.
Tomorrow it will be similar, with maximum temperatures just a little higher and above 25 degrees. A few clouds will appear tomorrow, but it will remain mostly sunny. The dew points will remain pleasant over the next few days. It will be a little damp towards the weekend.
Tropical Storm Francine formed in the Gulf of Mexico yesterday morning and is expected to strengthen to a Category 1 by the end of today. As it moves north, it will impact the Texas and Louisiana coasts as it moves ashore. By the end of the week, depending on Francine’s track, we could see some showers from the outer bands of Francine’s remnants. As a result, skies will be overcast on Thursday, with rain expected as early as Thursday evening. Friday is expected to be the rainiest day, but depending on how things play out, rain could continue into the weekend.
