College football programs across the country are working hard in fall camp and preparing for the new season, which means it is that time of year again for the always Once again, viral videos are appearing on the Internet in which walk-ons are rewarded with scholarships.

On Sunday, it was South Carolina’s turn to get its fans excited about two hard-working veterans: redshirt senior running back Bradley Dunn and redshirt junior linebacker Ronnie Porter.

Both players, who were used sparingly during their respective tenures in the program, earned the scholarships at a team meeting where they reviewed practice films.

Coach Shane Beamer highlighted Dunn and Porter’s plays in practice and praised their hard work before announcing they would receive scholarships. Their teammates mobbed them when they heard the news, and the conference room erupted in cheers.
