Interestingly, service dogs have become a controversial topic, as some people put their pups in work vests and call them assistance or service animals without official certification.

If owners choose to put vests on dogs that are not certified and do not have optimal behavior patterns, this can cause their dogs to behave more maliciously in public places and pose a danger to others.

A woman had to throw away a supposed “service dog” at her local Walmart because it was attacking her children. It was quite a mess.

She was shopping with her two children (1 and 3 years old) and was standing in the electronics department when suddenly a woman with a dog appeared behind her. The dog appeared to be a Chihuahua mix, was wearing a service vest and was standing right next to her.

“As soon as it saw my three-year-old, it started growling at him (even though) my son hadn’t even noticed him yet,” she said.

“I picked up my son and put him in the basket of the shopping cart to create some distance.”

She asked the woman if she wouldn’t mind walking away from her since her dog seemed upset, so the lady picked up her dog and told her he would be fine.

Then everything descended into chaos when the dog jumped out of the woman’s arms and barked at her shopping cart. He began jumping up and down and looked as if he wanted to bite her young son’s legs, which were sticking out of the basket seat of the shopping cart.

“My children panicked and I instinctively kicked the dog to get him away from my children,” she recalls.
