Sheetz opens four new stores with diesel tracks for trucks

Mid-Atlantic retailer Sheetz Inc. will open four new convenience stores with diesel lanes for trucks this month in Michigan, North Carolina and Virginia. Each store will offer high-flow diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) for commercial vehicles, as well as a truck scale and free overnight parking for truck drivers.

New stores scheduled to open in August include:

  • ^ “Middletown, Virginia”. This new store is located at 121 Confidence Lane, has nine lanes for truck drivers, and is accessible to truck drivers via Exit 302 on Interstate 81.
  • Asheville, North Carolina. This new store is located at 5440 Asheville Highway in Hendersonville, has four lanes for truckers, and is accessible to truckers via Exit 44 on Interstate 26.
  • Warsaw, North Carolina. This new store is located at 2543 W NC 24 Highway, has five lanes for truckers, and is accessible to truckers via Exit 364 on Interstate 40.
  • Romulus, Michigan. Sheetz’s first store in Michigan, 33380 Wick Road, has truck lanes and is accessible to truckers via Exit 197 on Interstate 94.

Sheetz was founded in 1952 in Altoona, Pennsylvania and currently operates more than 740 convenience stores in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. Sheetz is number 13 on CSP 2024: Ranking of the top 202 U.S. convenience store chains by number of stores.
