Shreveport Regional Airport opens more restaurants | News

SHREVEPORT, LA – Shreveport Regional Airport recently opened three new restaurants to enhance the travel experience for locals and visitors.

TacoMania, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, and Notini’s Italian are three popular, well-known restaurants in and outside of the Shreveport-Bossier City area.

TacoMania was located on East Kings Highway but was demolished in 2022. It opened in the airport on July 28.

Notini’s is one of Bossier City’s most popular restaurants. It is now located near Gate 5 in Concourse B. Only ticketed passengers can use the cafe.

Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is an international cafe.

Shreveport Regional Airport spokesman Mark Crawford and Tailwinds Hospitality senior vice president Jess Backhaus say many passengers have wanted more food options at the airport. With the influx of more people coming to Shreveport, both men want to give travelers a taste of what the city has to offer.

“People, the locals, can get a taste of what they’re used to, what’s familiar to them. People who fly into the area and maybe have never been here before can also taste some of the local flavors,” Crawford said.

“You have to have a feel for the place and know where you are. When you come to Shreveport, you get Shreveport food like you get in the big cities, like in Dallas, at KFC or Bojangles,” Backhaus said.

Southern Maid Donuts will soon be opening at the airport. It is located near the security checkpoint.

Great Raft Brewing will also be in the airport.

But it’s not just restaurants that are being worked on at the regional airport. According to Crawford, the parking and gate areas are also to be expanded, new furniture installed and much more.
