SimNord provides update on Copenhagen Airport for MSFS

Scenery developer SimNord, formerly known as Vidan Designs, has shared an update on social media about its upcoming Copenhagen International Airport (ICAO: EKCH) scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

In a post written in Danish and translated online by FSElite, SimNord explains that work on the Copenhagen project is still ongoing and many building models have already been completed. Special attention has been paid to Kastrup’s Terminal 3, including the surrounding land area.

The post states that the project was supposed to be completed by spring 2024, but it says, “I have to admit, it’s going to take a while.” A collection of screenshots shows the progress of the terminal buildings and illustrates the attention to detail with which SimNord is implementing the project.

In early April, SimNord released an update with screenshots of the control tower of Denmark’s largest international airport, admitting that “there’s still a long way to go.” While there’s currently no release date, it’s clear that this is a scenery we should keep an eye on. FSElite will update you on the latest news as it arrives.
