Soundside Music Festival has released an update on its inaugural event, adding a performance by Bleachers and announcing full showtimes for the two-day event. Set to take place September 28 and 29 at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Soundside will debut later this month as the third annual edition and formal relaunch of C3 Presents’ (formerly known as Sound On Sound) popular coastal music festival. Set to make a splash upon its return under a new name, the long-awaited celebration will welcome 20 top-tier artists spanning alternative, Americana, pop, R&B, hard rock, retro soul and more, led by headliners Noah Kahan and Foo Fighters.

Today’s lineup update comes a week after high-profile Sunday band Queens of the Stone Age pulled out of the festival and canceled their entire remaining 2024 tour schedule, citing frontman Josh Homme’s need to “put his health ahead of the band’s eight fall commitments.” Indie-pop innovators Bleachers, led by the ever-evolving Jack Antonoff, are the perfect addition to the program’s open set; following the release of their eponymous fourth studio album in March – which also features guest appearances from Antonoff collaborators and contemporaries such as Lana Del Rey, Clairo, St. Vincent and Bartees Strange – the band have been riding a wave of critical and commercial success over the summer.

The full festival schedule accompanying the late artist announcement lists Soundside’s 20 performances in order, with each day’s performances starting at 12pm and headliner sets on Saturday and Sunday running at 8:50pm and 8:25pm. Early sets include Rijah, Hurray for the Riff Raff, The War and Treaty, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Thee Sacred Souls and Gregory Alan Isakov; later afternoon and evening performances come from Boyz II Men, Norah Jones, Grace Potter, Fleet Foxes, Teddy Swims, Goo Goo Dolls, Bleachers and the headliners.
