Spirit Airlines’ new sale offers travelers one-way flights for just $20

Spirit Airlines’ new sale offers travelers one-way flights for just

  • Philadelphia (PHL) to Orlando (MCO): $20
  • Detroit (DTW) to Atlanta (ATL): $20
  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Las Vegas (LAS): $20
  • Sacramento (SMF) to Las Vegas (LAS): $20
  • San Jose (SJC) to Las Vegas (LAS): $20
  • Houston (IAH) to Orlando (MCO): $20

Of course, like any budget airline, you’ll have to pay for some extras unless you fly without luggage, don’t select a seat, and don’t eat anything during the flight. But still, with a base fare of $20, you probably won’t spend too much money if you choose one of these flights.

Although Spirit is considered one of the least comfortable airlines in the US (just ahead of Frontier Airlines), some travelers prefer to pay less and suffer cramps or back pain than spend a fortune on a product that isn’t much different. And finally, if you have low expectations, you won’t be disappointed. Plus, cheap doesn’t mean it’s unsafe. In fact, according to the website AirlineRatings.com, Spirit has the highest possible safety rating and a flawless record.

Starting August 27, Spirit’s pricing structure will change, offering prospective travelers four packages: “Go Big,” “Go Comfy,” “Go Savvy” and “Go,” with the first three including premium amenities from Wi-Fi to early boarding and seat selection.
