An important part of Anakin’s life

Star Wars offers fans a new prequel story that covers a lesser-known period when Anakin Skywalker was still a teenager.

We are used to the years between Attack of the Clones And Revenge of the Sithbut the child Anakin is often overlooked.

Have you played Ubisoft’s open world? Star Wars Outlaws still?

The new adventure, Padawan’s Pridewas released as an audiobook for Audible and follows young Anakin and Obi-Wan as they attempt to break into an underground podracing track.

The goal is to expose a Republic spy, with Anakin working undercover as a pod racer with Obi-Wan as his assistant.

This will likely lead to a very different dynamic between the two characters, as both learn their roles as Padawan and Master while Anakin adjusts to life in the wider galaxy.

This risky mission will test the Jedi’s relationship and provide a more detailed look into the duo’s early years.

Padawan’s Pride With a running time of just under four hours, it is a relatively short story and could show that this format can work for shorter, more entertaining Star Wars stories.

It could be a very emotional story, as Anakin was separated from his mother just a few years ago and misses her terribly.

Whether we’ll experience any of the fear we see in the final two films of the prequel trilogy is hard to say, but I’m sure some seeds will be planted.

An interesting point is that Anakin has a blue lightsaber, so the story takes place after he begins his combat training.

Hopefully there will be plenty of fight scenes alongside the pod racing action while maintaining the humor and camaraderie between the two.

This could be a turning point for Star Wars as the company looks to tell its fiction in more new ways going forward.
