Start of work on the gas pipeline on Route 18 in Beaver Falls, impacts on traffic

Pittsburgh, PA – Officials with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 11 have announced the start of a project to install a gas main on Route 18 (7th Avenue) in Beaver Falls, Beaver County. Construction will begin March 5 and is contingent on suitable weather conditions.

The project will require a redesign of traffic flow at the intersection of Route 18 and 21st Street. Drivers should expect changes to their usual routes on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., lasting through Friday, March 8. Installation work is being performed by Miller Pipeline on behalf of Columbia Gas.

It is important to note that PennDOT is not directly involved in the implementation of this project, but is providing this information to the public as a service. Individuals seeking additional details may contact Dillon Eggers at 724-714-8263.
