Arizona Cardinals games are coming with big changes for the 2024 season. You’ve probably heard about the excitement surrounding the team’s new rookie class, which includes wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. But the improvements aren’t just limited to the field. The food and beverage team at State Farm Stadium is introducing a huge array of new food items for the 2024 Arizona Cardinals football season, ranging from a cotton candy burrito to a meatball hoagie on a stick.
“We’re very aware that this is an Instagram world,” said Sean Kavanaugh, executive chef of Craft Culinary Concepts. He expects the cotton candy burrito to be one of this season’s social media favorites. But he’s also personally excited about the “dog-a-dilla,” which he said is the brainchild of his assistant chef, Leo Tijerina.
In addition to new menu items from the stadium’s existing food and beverage vendors, there are also seven brand-new restaurant options making their Arizona Cardinals debut this season, including Spinato’s Pizzeria, Scoopwell’s Dough Bar, Barrio Queen, Kaizen, Amelia’s by EAT, Heritage at Sportsman’s Park and Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar.
Arizona Cardinals Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Walls said the opening of the new restaurants is part of a larger effort to revitalize the stadium, starting with the entry level this year. He said the organization has specifically sought out additional food vendors that offer gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options in the stadium, which is “something fans have been asking for.”
Here’s a look at over 50 new menu items that will be available at State Farm Stadium in 2024.
Tailor-made culinary concepts
Craft Culinary Concepts, the premier food and beverage program at State Farm Stadium, is introducing the following new products at food vendors around the stadium:
- Chicken Waffle Sandwich: Fried chicken, maple chive butter, fried honey pimento cheese bites and a fried pickle between two waffles. Available in sections 102, 127, 129, 408 and 420.
- Fiery hot Cheeto chicken fillets: Chicken fillets covered in Tostitos Nacho Cheese Sauce and crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos, served with dill pickles. Available in sections 102, 127, 129, 408 and 420.
- Nutty Asian Salad: Chinese cabbage, kale, red cabbage, carrots, edamame, cucumber, mandarin oranges, cashews, fried rice noodles and sesame ginger dressing. Vegan but with the option to add chicken. Available in sections 103, 125, 220 and 227.
- Meatball Hoagie on a Skewer: Two large meatballs on a skewer, intertwined with hoagie dough and covered with Parmesan cheese, served with marinara sauce. Available in sections 119, 406 and 437.
- Vegan vegetable summer rolls: Seasonal vegetables and rice noodles wrapped in rice paper with sweet Thai chili sauce. Available in departments 103, 125 and 220.
- Macho Nachos: Tortilla chips with ground beef, salsa, cheese, sour cream, black olives, guacamole and jalapeños, served in a souvenir Arizona Cardinals football bowl. Available in sections 119, 406, 437 and 452.
There are also several Craft Culinary Concepts items that are only available at the club level. These include:
- Cotton Candy Burrito: Cotton candy flavored ice cream with Fruity Pebbles, Froot Loops, marshmallows, Skittles, mini M&Ms, gummy bears and sprinkles in a cotton candy shell. Available in sections 222 and 247.
- Vegan, gluten-free pizza: Cauliflower crusted with cilantro-onion pesto sauce, vegan cheese and cream, pickled red onion and smoked jackfruit birria. Available in sections 209 and 240.
- Vienna Beef Jalapeño Cheddar Dog-a-Dilla: Choice of a juicy Vienna Beef Sausage with Jalapeño Cheddar, topped with spicy cheddar cheese, crema and green onions in a pressed tortilla; or a Vienna Beef Sausage with Jalapeño Cheddar, topped with beef birria, Oaxaca cheese, cilantro, onions, chili, shredded cheddar and diced onion. Available in Section 227.
- Vegan Buffalo Cauliflower Bites: bite-sized pieces of cauliflower topped with spicy buffalo sauce and a side of zesty chipotle aioli. Available in sections 213, 235 and 247.
- Vienna sausages with beef and jalapeño pretzel: Vienna beef sausage with jalapeño and cheddar cheese wrapped in Ben’s pretzel dough. Available in section 220.
- Large AZ Chicken Taquito: Shredded chicken and sharp cheddar cheese in a large rolled tortilla, served with fresh salsa. Available in sections 213, 235 and 247.
- Chicken fillets with red chilies and parmesan: Chicken fillets coated in red chili-parmesan-garlic sauce. Available in section 247.
Spinato’s Pizzeria
Spinato’s Pizzeria is located in sections 113, 132, 416 and 440 at State Farm Stadium. They offer 8-inch pepperoni and cheese pizzas, an Italian beef sandwich, cheese garlic bread, a Caesar salad, brownie bites and a new Arizona Cardinals RedZone pizza with signature sauce, mozzarella, Canadian bacon, roasted peppers, pepperoni and Spinato’s special spinach sauce.
Scoopwells Dough Bars
Scoopwell’s Dough Bar is located in sections 118, 424, 222 and 247 at State Farm Stadium. They offer sweet treats like peanut butter squares with chocolate butterscotch fudge; a cookie sundae consisting of a warm chocolate chip cookie with your choice of ice cream flavor; an ice cream sandwich made with freshly baked cookies; and 50/50, which is two scoops of cookie dough and two scoops of ice cream.
Barrio Queen
Barrio Queen is located in Section 135 at State Farm Stadium. New menu items include a three-taco combo, an “OMG” birria sandwich, walking tacos, Barrio guacamole and dessert nachos with cinnamon sugar, Mexican chocolate, whipped cream and strawberries.
Kaizen
Located in sections 136, 217 and 240 at State Farm Stadium, Kaizen offers gluten-free California rolls, a spicy tuna poke bowl, a salmon poke bowl, a kaizen poke bowl, short rib bao buns, a hibachi bowl and a yakisoba bowl.
There are also two unique Arizona Cardinals sushi rolls: the Cardinals roll with spicy crab, cucumber, panko shrimp, spicy tuna, black masago and spicy mayo; and the Big Red roll with bigeye tuna, panko fried shrimp, spicy crab blend, cucumber, avocado and jalapeño cilantro.
Amelia’s by EAT
Located in sections 222 and 247 of State Farm Stadium, Amelia’s by EAT offers several gluten-free options: lemon bars, salted chocolate chip cookies, and brown butter crispy rice treats.
Cultural Heritage in Sportsman’s Park
Heritage at Sportsman’s Park is located in section 137 of State Farm Stadium. Menu items are also available in sections 406, 437 and 452. They offer a Sonoran Dog and Brisket Sliders.
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar
Flanker Kitchen + Sports Bar is located in Section 113 and offers fried macaroni and cheese and Flanker’s Wings.
Cold beer and cheeseburger
Located in sections 109 and 444 of State Farm Stadium, Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers offers an All-American Burger with American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles, and a 1000 Island Burger with provolone cheese, pickles, lettuce and 1000 Island dressing.
Honey bears
Honey Bears is located in sections 104 and 203. New menu items include a hot link sandwich, veggie-laden French fries, mac and cheese with veggies, a fried shrimp basket, and a fried okra basket.
Lola’s Tacos
Lola’s Tacos is located in sections 127, 211 and 434. New menu items include the Lola Bowl with rice, pinto beans, cilantro, onions, salsa and either carne asada or chicken, and Mexican-style elote, consisting of corn on the cob with Mexican crema, chili lime powder, lime juice, salty cotija cheese and optional crushed Flaming Hot Cheetos.
Pork on a fork
Pork on a Fork is located in Section 127 of State Farm Stadium. This season they’re offering a baked potato with plenty of toppings and Big Red Mac and Cheese, topped with smoked brisket or pork, nacho cheese, and Hot Cheeto crumbles.
How to visit State Farm Stadium
The NFL preseason begins on Saturday, August 10, with the Cardinals’ first game against the New Orleans Saints at State Farm Stadium at 5 p.m.
The first home game of the regular season at State Farm Stadium will be on Sunday, September 15th at 1:05 p.m. against the Los Angeles Rams.
