Stay in a bungalow in Kruger National Park for $90 per night: Review

Stay in a bungalow in Kruger National Park for per night: Review

  • The Kruger National Park is a nature reserve in South Africa surrounded by wildlife.
  • I spent $90 a night to sleep in a spartan bungalow in the park.
  • The experience was good, but next time I would pay more to stay at a lodge.

With expedition adventures becoming more and more popular, I was keen to go on a safari in Kruger National Park, the largest national park in South Africa.

Choosing the park was easy, but deciding where to stay was difficult as there is a wide range of accommodation options in Kruger National Park.

There are 12 main rest camps in the park alone, as well as some more remote bush camps and lodges. In addition, there are private game reserves nearby that are connected to the Kruger National Park and offer lodge accommodation from basic to luxurious.

I finally decided to stay two nights in a bungalow inside the park at Satara Rest Camp, which cost $90 per night (not including the $25 park entrance fee that each guest must pay daily).
