Subway groper touches woman at Brooklyn station: NYPD

BROOKLYN, NY — A man attacked a woman in a Brooklyn subway station, police said late Tuesday.

At around 1:40 p.m. on Monday, a 25-year-old woman was leaving the Bedford Avenue train station when a man grabbed her buttocks from behind, officials said.

An NYPD spokesman said the groper then fled the scene to unknown parts of the subway station.

No injuries were reported and police say the man is still being sought by investigators.

Police described the attacker as a man of medium build and complexion, approximately 25 years old and approximately 1.73 meters tall. He was last seen wearing a light brown long-sleeved shirt, black Adidas sweatpants and a black backpack.

Police also released a photo of a person they believe is connected to the incident.
