Hollywood director, producer and screenwriter David Ayer has put his charming Los Angeles home up for sale for $2.49 million.

And it offers a first-class view.

Ayer is the director of 2016’s “Suicide Squad” and this year’s “The Beekeeper,” among others. He is also the screenwriter of the still-discussed 2001 “The Fast and The Furious.” Earlier this month, Ayer posted on social media that the “Ayer Cut” of “Suicide Squad” was far superior to the released Hollywood version – even though the latter still grossed $747 million at the box office.

The director’s cut is “a linear story,” Ayer posted on X. “Character development throughout the first arc. Harley has a real arc. Just like Deadshot. It’s moody and brave and dramatic and emotional. A totally different experience. It feels like a totally different movie.”

Ayer purchased this Echo Park residence at 2005 Lemoyne Street in 2017 – a year after the success of “Suicide Squad” – for $1.64 million, property records show.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom home is 3,300 square feet and sits on a 0.23-acre lot. Originally built in 1902, the property features multiple patios and balconies on three levels, including a rooftop deck with a summer grill for outdoor dining.

Design details include walls of windows on the main level that offer views of the canyoning gorge.

This floor also includes an open plan living/dining area and professional kitchen, a home office and a guest bedroom with access to a side patio. Upstairs is a stone tiled master bedroom with sitting area, large closet and spa-like bathroom with steam shower and tub and large patio. The lower level offers additional bedrooms as well as a kitchenette and space for an office or studio.

The large outdoor area features a courtyard with a pergola-covered dining area, a sauna, a “sports court”, lounge areas, a chicken coop, vegetable gardens and fruit trees.
