Regular Metro fares are $1.75 for a one-way trip with free transfers for two hours—or $3.50 for a round trip. For $5, you can also ride as many times a day as you want. Pay for fares with a TAP card (available at TAP machines at all train and bus stations) or use your smartphone as a TAP card by the TAP app.
