Taylor Swift apparently performs the “So High School” dance at the Chiefs game

Taylor Swift appears to show off high school dance moves at Kansas City Chiefs home opener

Taylor Swift may take a break from The Epoch Tourbut she seemed to adopt some choreography from the show at the Kansas City Chiefs’ first game of the season.

Swift, 34, was spotted busting out moves from her song “So High School” while sitting in her suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, September 5. “SO HIGH SCHOOL vibes 🥺,” wrote one X-user, comparing Swift at the game to her Epoch Tour Perfomance.

In the video, Swift leaned forward and let her arms slide down while seemingly mouthing the lyrics, “You know how to play, I know Aristotle.” Just like her tour choreography, Swift followed the movement by clapping her hands as the performance progressed.

Swift released “So High School” as part of her 11th studio album. The “Tortured Poets” sectionEarlier this year, there is strong speculation that the song is about her boyfriend, the Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The lyrics contain several references to the 34-year-old athlete, starting with a reference to a 2016 interview in which Kelce was asked to play “Kiss, Marry, Kill” with her, ArianaGrande And Katy Perry as his options. “Will you marry me, kiss me or kill me? It’s just a game, but seriously,” she sings.

Kelce’s close friend Harry Clark seemingly confirmed the text “Touch me while your friends play Grand Theft Auto” by posting an Instagram story of himself playing the popular video game shortly afterwards TTPD‘s April release.

“So High School” also contains what many consider to be a tribute to Travis’ father. Ed Kelce. “I feel like laughing in the middle of a workout / Do that impression you made on your father again,” sings Swift, referring to how Travis often calls his father on his and Jason Kelce‘s “New Heights” podcast.

Swift continued to allude to her relationship with Travis when she sang “So High School” and other TTPD Songs in the Epoch Tour in May. For this number, the steps on stage are lit up to look like bleachers, while graphics of stadium lights appear on the stage screens.

Additionally, the choreography features Swift and her dancers mimicking several of Travis’ notable touchdown and game day dance moves, as well as the “Swag Surfin'” dance that Chiefs fans do at NFL games.

Travis, who previously said “So High School” was his girlfriend’s favorite song, was spotted singing along to the song at Swift’s fourth and final Paris concert. Epoch Tour show in May, where she blew the football player a kiss before the song. He was later spotted copying Swift and her dancers’ “So High School” moves at one of her London shows the following month. In London, Swift also stopped to strike Kelce’s archer touchdown pose during her June 21 show.

The Chiefs defeated the Baltimore Ravens 27-20 on Thursday. It is likely that Swift will continue to attend Chiefs games before competing again. The Epoch Tour next month in Miami.
