Taylor Swift’s turbulent week ends with some NFL action.
The pop star arrived at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night more than an hour before the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Swift was at the stadium to cheer on the Chiefs, but mostly to support her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce. Swift wore a long Chiefs shirt and thigh-high black leather boots.
Swift’s performance came hours after she was criticized by former President Trump, who wrote about his dislike for Swift in a post on Truth Social.

Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president earlier this week after she and Trump participated in the first presidential debate.
“Like many of you, I watched tonight’s debate. If you haven’t already, now is a great time to educate yourself on the issues at hand and these candidates’ positions on the issues that matter most to you,” Swift wrote on Instagram. “As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can find about their proposed policies and plans for this country.”
“I recently became aware that a story was posted on his website in which ‘I’ falsely endorsed Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy. This has only heightened my fears about ‘AI’ and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It made me realize that as a voter, I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election. The easiest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.

“I will be voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 presidential election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes that I believe need a fighter to represent them. I think she is a calm, gifted leader and believe we can accomplish so much more in this country when we are led by calm, not chaos. I was so encouraged and impressed by her choice of her running mate @timwalz who has been an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and women’s rights to their own bodies for decades.

“I’ve done my research and made my choice. Your research is entirely up to you and you make the choice. I want to say to first-time voters in particular: remember you have to be registered to vote! I also find it much easier to vote early. In my story I will post links to registration options and dates and information on early voting.”
She signed her post with the self-description “childless cat lady”.
Trump responded to Swift’s support on “Fox & Friends” on Wednesday morning.
“It was just a matter of time. She couldn’t possibly support Biden. When you look at Biden, you can’t possibly support him,” Trump said, adding that he was not a fan of Swift.
“But she’s a very liberal person. She always seems to support a Democrat. And she’ll probably pay a price for that… in the market.”

Additionally, Swift won seven MTV Video Music Awards last week, including Female Artist of the Year.
She was in the house last week when the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens.
