Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce were much more unsettled than they admitted by scandalous allegations that they were faking it – and an insider tells exclusively Life & Style that a completely new strategy is being developed to prove the doubters wrong and look at things in a completely new light.

“Taylor is really making a conscious effort now to go with the flow a lot more and let herself go,” the source tells Life & Style. “When they got together, she was a lot more focused on the timing of everything, when they would have their first public date, their first public kiss, what their PR message would be. That’s her style, she cultivates her image down to the smallest detail and always has.”

However, it seems that Taylor, 34, has changed her attitude towards the public perception of her romance with 34-year-old Travis. “But at this point, she just wants to take the shackles off and let people judge her on what comes naturally,” the insider continues. “You can tell the change just by what she wore to the game.”

“In the past, she felt like she had to dress like the perfect NFL girlfriend, and for her, that meant wearing team gear from head to toe. This time, she wore what she thought was sexy, no merch or team colors,” the source points out, referring to her all-denim look at the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener on Sept. 5.

While Taylor and Travis “used to hide at home a lot because Taylor was afraid they would make a misstep in public and get torn to pieces,” the insider says, “she is determined not to think about things too much anymore.”

“So they just showed up at a pizza place in New York (in early September). Travis wanted pizza and he wanted to hang out with normal people like he always did,” the source says of their outing to Lucali in Brooklyn on Sept. 6. “And it was a great night, everyone was respectful and after the initial excitement, they just went with the crowd and had a great time.”

The insider promises that fans will “see more of this over time as the two do a lot more spontaneous things.” However, it should be noted that Taylor and Travis are going about it “because they want to, and not because everything has to be planned in advance and managed in detail.”

While the couple – who confirmed their relationship in September 2023 – are not afraid to make public declarations of affection, another source previously shared Life & Style that they are determined to keep certain aspects of their relationship private.

“Taylor and Travis are pretty open when they’re out in public,” the insider said Life & Style on September 18. “But as for the actual nature of their relationship? They decided early on that they wanted to keep certain things private.”

Although they seem to be madly in love, the source added that the couple also has a lot of issues. “They have great chemistry, but they also have disagreements. They can be very silly and goofy with each other, and they can be very serious. And they’re under a lot of scrutiny every time they go out,” the insider shared. “But they always make each other a priority because to them, it’s the only thing. They’re each other’s happy ending in real life — not a PR stunt.”
