Football season isn’t official until Taylor Swift makes it so, and she made her first appearance last night at the Chiefs game in Kansas City. After her European tour Epoch Tour, Swift came to support Travis Kelce wearing two controversial looks: denim on denim and side-swept millennial bangs.

On September 5, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs played their first game of the season and defeated the Baltimore Ravens by seven points, perhaps with the help of Swift.Department for Tortured Poets The singer opted for a denim top by Versace, high-cut denim shorts by Grlfrnd, lots of gold jewelry and rounded off the look with a classic side ponytail.

<p>Swift has styled her side bangs to her liking, perfecting the swept style over the years. Her bangs were parted to the left, resting just above her eyebrow, and stayed in place throughout the game (it was likely styled down with gel or hairspray). The rest of her hair was curled in soft, casual waves.</p>
<p>As for the rest of her glam, the 34-year-old kept it simple and standard. Her complexion was enhanced with a bit of blush and bronzer, and she stuck to her favorite colors like her black eyeliner and red lip combo. Her red lipstick, however, was a little darker, swapping her usual fire hydrant red for an autumnal burgundy shade.</p>

Throughout the 2023 football season, Swift’s ensembles always felt inspired by Kelce’s team number or the Chiefs’ colors, but her first outfit and glam were much more understated. Right now, Canadian tuxedos and side-swept bangs are jumping into the fall trend cycle with the best PR in the business—a seal of approval from Swift.
