Taylor Swift apparently didn’t make the trip to Atlanta to watch Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Falcons on Sunday night in their third game of the week.
Swift attended the Chiefs’ first two games of the season, both of which were victorious and played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Swift was in a suite for both games, in which the Chiefs barely hung on to victory.

The Chiefs were on the road on Sunday night. Swift was there last season for the Chiefs’ away game against the New York Jets, but the circumstances were very different then. Swift also accompanied the Chiefs on their Super Bowl run and made it to Super Bowl 58 despite an overseas tour.
Swift was conspicuously absent as the pomp and circumstance of her entry into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium did not take place before kick-off.
Kelce had trouble getting on offense. In two games, he caught four balls for 39 yards.

Earlier this week, he was criticized by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
“I love my brother Travis Kelce, but yesterday, on a Sunday afternoon, we saw more Taylor Swift than Travis Kelce,” Smith said last week after the Chiefs’ victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. “That shouldn’t be happening. We should have seen more Travis Kelce yesterday than we did her.”

“But that’s not going to happen. You have to get going, you’ve got 39 yards passing in the first two games. Come on. Football season has started. The honeymoon is over. Let’s get our affairs in order, OK.”
