Taylor Swift’s new album sees a 600% increase in sales

Since its release in April, Taylor Swift’s The “Tortured Poets” section was a real bestseller. The set has been one of the best-selling titles in the country for months and still manages to generate huge sums of money every week.

Despite the fact that millions of fans have already bought the title – and even more have consumed it voraciously on streaming platforms –The “Tortured Poets” section is still selling incredibly well. The set is skyrocketing Billboard This week, the buy-only rankings are at the top as sales numbers increase significantly.

The “Tortured Poets” section According to Luminate, it sold another 84,000 copies in America last week. That’s the kind of number most artists can only hope for when they release an exciting, heavily promoted new album. The fact that Swift can still reach such a number months after the release of her set is incredible.

Even more impressive is how much The “Tortured Poets” section rose from week to week. Last year, the title sold just under 12,000 copies. From one period to the next, Swift’s latest blockbuster saw a sales increase of over 600 percent.

84,000 copies are enough for The “Tortured Poets” section to return to No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart this week. The set has now sat on the throne of that ranking seven times – nearly half of the 16 frames it has appeared in overall. Swift’s project shoots up from No. 6, a position it reached last time out.

Swift regularly releases new versions of The “Tortured Poets” sectionand superfans pounce on any slightly altered version of the title. She sometimes offers deluxe editions with new live recordings, voice notes or demos. Often these updates are made available on her website, but only for a short time.

All these tens of thousands of purchases also help The “Tortured Poets” section maintain its place on the Billboard 200. Swift dominates the list of the country’s most consumed albums for the fourteenth year in a row. The title sold 142,000 copies in the last tracking period, more than half of which were traditional sales.
