You might expect to see the Tesla Model 3 Highlands in many places, but that’s not likely to be the case in a field in North Florida.
So you can imagine the shock of the man who came across this and searched the Internet for answers.

The Teslas that haven’t found a home yet
A photo of the field was shared by user LSDBunnos on Reddit.
Local Reddit users confirmed that the field was being used by the Tampa dealership as an overflow storage facility for unsold Teslas.
However, other Tesla stores in the state also make use of it.
The drive I contacted the Tampa store, who confirmed it was a delivery center overflow parking lot.
These cars are not in bad condition as we often see vehicles abandoned in fields – like these Japanese cars abandoned in a rice field.
In fact, all Model 3 Highlands appear to be brand new.
According to LSDBunnos, their manufacturing date is April 2024.
So every Floridian who buys a car could soon get one of these field vehicles.
What does this mean for Tesla?
Even if the vehicles appear to be in good condition at first glance, there is a risk of damage to the underbody.
