Texas entered the U.S. championship game with a perfect 3-0 record, including a 4-1 win over the same Florida team that was victorious in Saturday’s U.S. championship game. But a 10-7 loss sent the Boerne, Texas, team into the third-place game against Venezuela, which lost 4-1 to a strong Taiwanese team. The winner of Sunday’s game will earn third place and a chance to close out its Little League World Series with a win.
