Thai man dies in fatal brawl outside police station

A deadly brawl broken out in front of the Pho Kaew police station in the central province of Nakhon Pathom on Friday, so that a Thai man deadThe family of the deceased condemned the police for their inaction.

The fatal stabbing occurred outside the police station in Nakhon Pathom’s Sampran district at around 9 p.m. on August 23. The two injured Thai nationals, 47-year-old Jadesada Niammueang and 17-year-old Boonrit Kaewboonperm, were taken to Mettapracharak Hospital.

Jadesada suffered three stab wounds to the chest and another wound to the back, while Boonrit suffered a cut to the mouth. Unfortunately, Jadesada later succumbed to his injuries.

The two suspects involved in the stabbing, 44-year-old Nopporn Chuenklin and 36-year-old Adisak Kasemsan, were arrested after the incident and detained at the police station.

Jadesada’s friend Nattawut told Channel 7 that Boonrit and Nopporn’s son initially had an argument, and the two parties agreed to meet at the police station on the day of the incident to resolve the matter.

According to Nattawut, Nopporn immediately pulled out a knife and stabbed Jadesada outside the police station. Chaos ensued, but police officers did not intervene to stop the situation. Nopporn’s friend Adisak then approached Boonrit and slit his mouth.

Eventually, the police intervened and arrested the two attackers, but their actions were criticized for not reacting quickly enough. Nattawut said he wanted justice for his two friends, especially the deceased Jadesada. He criticized the police for allowing the fatal attack to take place right outside the police station.

Officials from Pho Kaew Police Station told MGR Online that the two parties arranged the meeting themselves and did not inform any police officer about the matter. More than ten police officers rushed to control the situation as soon as they realized what was happening.

Nopporn and Adisak confessed that they had a heated argument with the other party and that the victims insulted their parents. The argument escalated into a physical altercation, but they claimed they were unable to defend themselves and decided to attack the other party with knives.

Officials announced that the two suspects would be brought before a provincial court today. However, they did not mention Jadesada’s family and friends, who accused the police of inaction and delayed response.
